Company Custom Accounting Application

Business objective
To transform the current manual processing of recording account between company and business partner(franchise) from manual excel spreadsheet to an application where stakeholders can access and to manage and/or view the record
Role will use this application
1. Application administrator – create accountant, shareholder account
2. Accountant – Enter transaction data for 3 business modal
3. Shareholder – view report for each business model they owned (view only)
4. Agent – Only for “Product Credit” business model. (view only)
Business Model
They are total three business model to use this accounting application where their data entry requirement will be different
1. Web portal: franchise whom rent company platform/products to run business
2. Product CASH: Company owned brand: (shareholder can see brands that has shared, each company has it’s own data entry)
3. Product CREDIT: Agent rent company platform/products to run business in credit model
WEB PORTAL Data entry
1. Data to enter will be
a. Revenue earned in platform
b. Platform fee to the company
c. Server rental fees to company
d. Payout from company to franchise or vice versa depend on platform revenue
2. Settlement is done in monthly basis on the 1st of every month
PRODUCT CASH Data entry
1. Data to enter will be
a. Revenue earned in platform
b. Operation expenses incurred
c. 3rd party payment gateway expenses incurred
2. Settlement is done in monthly basis on the 1st of every month
PRODUCT CREDIT Data entry
1. Data to enter will be
a. Revenue earned in game from agent
b. Expenses incurred
c. Early collection of money from agent
d. Payout from company to agent or vice versa depend on platform revenue
e. Balance payment will positive or negative will bring forward each week
2. Settlement is done in weekly basis on Monday.
General requirement for all business model
1. The software consist of 4 different login screen (admin, accountant, shareholder & credit agent)
2. Admin and accounting can access all 3 business modal accounts
3. Shareholder can access only specify section of the business model base on the permission set during shareholder account creation
4. Exchange Rate
a. A function page to manage exchange rate
b. Base currency is RMB
c. During data entry, system to capture exchange rate and recorded the amount according to exchange rate
d. Shall the franchise/partner settlement is not in RMB (base currency), the entered record will have 2 amount: RMB amount and franchise/partner own currency settlement amount
e. Company can choose to view the accounting record in either amount RMB/partner currency
f. Franchise/partner view their accounting in their own currency
5. Implement Google 2FA (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.authenticator2&hl=en) for Admin, accountant & shareholder login
6. Admin has a System log that able to track all data changes in the system. All action add, delete, modify of data will be recorded inside the system log. Previous value for Delete and modify of data must be recorded inside the system log. Must be robust enough to track all changes done system wide.
7. Must be responsive and using bootstrap admin theme (https://adminlte.io/)
8. Must build using latest PHP Laravel php framework. (https://laravel.com)
9. Localization for different language, Must be able to change language using laravel localization (https://laravel.com/docs/5.6/localization)
