The Role
We are looking for a talented Head of Security to own all technical related matters across the organisation. This is a big challenge that involves many cutting-edge technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Druid, Cassandra, Kafka, and native mobile clients, in a production environment reaching 500M+ kids each month. What you’ll do in this role:

Be responsible for leading the security measures across the organisation: product design and development, infrastructure, processes and data flows
Liaise with the Head of each department and translate technical concepts and issues of security into business risks which can be understood and assimilated by technical and non-technical team members
Lead and facilitate initiatives aimed at reaching and maintaining top of the range Security standards (e.g.: vulnerability assessment, penetration tests, InfoSec awareness workshops and training sessions)
Coordinate and prioritise the integration of technical security implementations across multiple products and teams
Oversee activities with internal and external security auditors
Lead Security incident management activities, from identification to resolution
Train the rest of the team
About you

Experience managing security in a high-growth company
Previous experience in software development, with hands-on experience scaling complex technical systems of worldwide scale
Experience in having a structured approach to crisis management
Advanced knowledge of some key information risk management and security related standards such as OWASP, ISO2700x series, PCI DSS, US and EU Data Security and Privacy Acts, NIST standards, or others
Industry certifications such as CEH, EnCE, SANS, CISSP, CRISC or CISA are a plus
Proven excellent communicator
