3 Assistant Director Positions

The UVA Career Center is excited to expand its reach to students by hiring three Assistant Directors who serve on the Employer Relations Team. Each has varying responsibilities based on assigned functional area but all provide direct counseling and advising to students, contribute to the design and implementation of programs, and support the administration of academic, alumni, and employer partnerships. These Assistant Directors are required to have at least 2 years of experience providing career counseling or advising services in a college or university setting OR at least 4 years of career counseling or programming experience in a student-development setting. Ideal candidates will also have experience building partnerships with external entities and ability to work effectively with alumni, faculty, and employers. A Master's degree in counseling, higher education administration or related field is required. These are full time, 12-month, 40 hour per week, salaried, three year term limited - restricted positions, with benefits. Continuation is based on satisfactory performance and funding availability. Also designs programs that support students interested in Technology., and Life Transforming Programs: Design and implement innovative programs that integrate skill development and experiential learning.
