About the company: We are a very early start up in the drinks wholesale sector and have recently received support from a FTSE100 to incubate our business. We believe we’re working on something highly disruptive and have an opportunity to help small drinks producers thrive. We work in a fun co-working space that specialises in creating partnerships between entrepreneurs and corporates – so there’s plenty of opportunity to learn from a wealth of interesting people. About the Role: You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business; given great operations lies at the heart of what we do, you have a key role in our business’ success. Whilst we have investor support, you’ll be full time employee #2 – responsible for managing the day-to-day operations whilst the Founder focuses on new customers and product development. Day-to-day operations will be varied – but there’s a strong focus on ensuring orders are fulfilled smoothly, building customer relationships, responding quickly to fiddly logistics issues and managing invoices perfectly. We are at the start of what is going to be an exciting journey so we’ll be looking to you to put in the processes and systems that are going to help us scale quickly and efficiently. What we’re looking for: This is an early stage startup environment which requires a sharp and self-motivated individual who can learn quickly and is not afraid to take the lead. You’ll need an attention to detail, have a knack for complex planning, and a willingness to learn anything and everything that goes into scaling, developing and operating a business. You should have a superhuman ability to think and respond quickly to things as and when they arise, without dropping everything else. We’re working in a relatively small, well-connected industry – so you must have a brilliant and buttoned ability to build relationships with customers and suppliers – especially when things don’t go to plan. Skills/Experience: Experience in customer support, either in person or remotely.
Analytical approach to problem solving, comfortable with numbers.
Experience of working in a self-starting environment
Passion for the alcoholic drinks industry
Knowledge of London neighbourhoods would be very handy
Comfortable on MS office – especially Excel As well as the opportunity to shape a very early stage, disruptive business: A monthly stipend of £1100
3 months contract with potential to extend beyond
