What it's like to work here:One of only four Palladian bridges of this design in the world can be crossed at Prior Park, which was created in the 18th century by local entrepreneur Ralph Allen, with advice from 'Capability' Brown and the poet Alexander Pope.The garden is set in a sweeping valley where visitors can enjoy magnificent views of Bath. Restoration of the 'Wilderness' has reinstated the Serpentine Lake, Cascade and Cabinet.
What you'll be doing:We are undertaking a major Dams restoration project at Prior Park this year. As part of this we are looking for someone to help recruit and manage a wide team of volunteers to support the project. The volunteers you will help recruit will be integral to explaining the story and the work of the project to visitors, in turn enhancing the visitor experience. Reporting to the Visitor Experience Manager you will also support the wider team with induction and training of volunteers and becoming a proficient user of the National Trust volunteer system. This post is for 12 months.

- A sound working knowledge of volunteering principles and practice.
- Good team player
- Good people skills enabling strong relationships to be built and maintained
- Well organised and attentive to detail.
- Excellent customer services skills and a passion for the importance of involving our supporters in our cause
