We are looking for an experienced and motivated criminal investigator to join this high performing team.

About the role:

The Complex Investigations Team conduct large scale criminal investigations into persistent and/or serious criminal activities in particular fraud, counterfeiting, scams and doorstep crime. The role will involve all aspects of criminal investigations including the gathering of evidence of offending/defence, interviewing suspects, drafting witness statements, preparing reports and schedules of evidence for formal action. You will be part of a dynamic and highly motivated team which includes Trading Standards Officers, Accredited Financial Investigators and a Victim Safeguarding Officer.

Our office is based in Ashford but you will be expected to work across Kent and sometimes further afield.

The candidate:

You will be an experienced criminal investigator, able to manage large caseloads, strong evidence of team work and able to think outside the box.
