$20 - $30 an hour
Part-time

Busy Chairman and Founder of Hispanic Communications Network and La Red Hispana, as well as other companies/Non-Profits is looking for part time executive assistant. Must have at least 2 years prior experience as an Administrative/Executive Assistant or similar management work, and a bachelor's degree.

20-40 hours a week based on how much you want to work. $20-30 an hour based on experience.

Ideal candidate will be a good writer, savvy about getting through to decision makers in government and business, emotionally grounded and have a passion for Latinx culture and/or using media to promote human rights. Must be familiar with using all forms of social media as well as office related software such as MS word, Excel, Google Docs, and organizing apps such as Copper and have firm command of the English language, good grammar, be well spoken with a keen intellect and a drive to learn, engage, be involved and be of service as many of the projects you will be helping the Chairman with are of a humanitarian nature. Ideal candidate has a background in marketing and communications and the ability to "get through to" decision makers at ad agencies, studios and government institutions to explain our projects and tee up meetings. Candidate also needs to be super well organized and able to deal with light bookkeeping and other back office administrative details.

HCN and LaRedHispana are fully staffed businesses already. Your job would be working several days/week at the Chairman's home office in Santa Monica and helping him manage a variety of tasks that all pertain to his various businesses, working and coordinating virtually with the rest of his team (who are based in DC., FL, NM, AZ) and generally helping keep track of all the bits and pieces of projects that he is juggling all the time so things don't fall through the cracks! You can also work from home (or anywhere you've got wifi and phone signal) whenever he is out of town (about 30% of the time)

He is fun to work for and really a great guy. I am his current assistant (and Goddaughter) but will be switching to handling more of his personal affairs so you can handle the business/administrative side. We will overlap for a while and I will get you familiar with the way things work here. I will be in and out of his office and ideally the 3 of us would make a great team. There is A LOT to do on this job and the tasks change day to day but the vibes are very positive and fun and the home office is right on the beach. This is basically a dream job for a can-do person who loves Latin culture and/or is devoted to using media to promote human rights worldwide, is happy to spend 20-30 hours a week in front of a screen, can manage infinite details, and is persuasive on setting up phone interviews with high powered individuals, and wants a job with flexibility and a break from the usual office/desk job routine.
