Role Summary

The University of Lincoln seeks a Product Design Senior Lecturer to join the BA (Hons) Product Design programme team. The post also requires an enthusiastic reliable team player and engaging confident teacher, who has product design industry knowledge and skills. It is therefore essential that candidates have a sound knowledge of: design processes; design thinking; user/human-centred design; digital sketch; 2D and 3D conceptualisation; brand alignment; and design constraints.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to contribute to the university’s REF profile, both in 2021 and beyond. The candidate should have a demonstrable track record of research outputs and funding applications, and be able to present clear forward research plans for the next three years. Experience in a Higher Education environment at undergraduate is desirably, and, preferably at postgraduate level.
