TripAdvisor is looking for a dynamic candidate to join the Restaurants team. As a Senior Key Account Sales Manager, you will be responsible for prospecting, negotiating & signing new partners with large account profiles in the North America market. You will in be charge of building and managing relationships with a variety partners spanning several verticals within the Restaurants team including reservation providers, online ordering platforms, reputation management businesses, marketing agencies, and restaurant chains. You will be a key contributor of growing our business within this vertical.

Reporting to the Head of Key Accounts for Restaurants, primary responsibilities include, driving new partnerships, proactively managing relationships, optimizing partnerships, improving on best practices, and strengthening partner integrations with the TripAdvisor platform.

This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to master technical systems and processes, and polished communication skills, both internally and externally. What You'll Do:

  • Understand and navigate the large restaurant group ecosystem, primarily focusing on opportunities with 100+ locations
  • Prospect, win new business from a variety of client types
  • Achieve your revenue objectives by implementing the right strategy on your prospect portfolio
  • Negotiate custom offers, working with the legal team to structure them into our agreement templates
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of Restaurants partners, increasing depth of partnerships and subsequently revenue over time
  • Increase listings on TripAdvisor Restaurant Solutions platform via partner integrations
  • Work with the account management team to onboard new clients and smoothly manage transitions between teams
  • Work with account management and accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting and invoicing of partners
  • Analyze partner performance and leverage relationships to optimize revenue growth
  • Research destinations, identify new businesses and work to increase partner coverage
  • Work with partners across your territory and gain an understanding of their individual market needs
  • Serve as main point of contact for your book of business to help resolve issues and answer questions
  • Assist Account Management team with post sales activities including managing listings and feature activation
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders; participate in special projects and initiatives
  • Proactively suggest improvements to current systems and processes to contribute independently to continuous process improvement
  • 20-30% travel expected

What You'll Bring to the team:

  • 7-10+ years sales experience, preferably with an online company; travel or restaurant industry experience preferred
  • Strong technical understanding. Ability to quickly learn new processes and work with development teams as necessary to troubleshoot problems
  • Superb written and oral English communication skills. Spanish and French a plus
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Understanding of SQL a plus
  • Ability to organize multiple priorities simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines
  • Flexible and adaptable personality; self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work efficiently in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
