Scope of role

  • You are an effective advisor, providing guidance and counsel relating to talent management, employee relations, coaching/development, remuneration, conflict management and organizational development
  • You are an educator and coach leaders on the brilliant basics of people leadership
  • You provide advice and support to managers and staff on people policies, procedures and processes
  • You foster development, understanding talent gaps and opportunities to build capability across the business
  • You are manage end to end all employee employee relations matters of moderate complexity
  • Your key stakeholders will be fulfilment centre operations managers and supervisors
  • You support the Senior Business Partner in the development and implementation of P&C initiatives with a focus on scaling for growth and culture retention
  • You manage the Health Safety and Wellbeing return to work coordination

How You’ll Succeed

  • Be the business partner that leaders trust to support the development and implementation of effective People policies and practices that will support the strategic growth of the business
  • Becoming a master at finding the balance of providing people solutions that are commercially viable
  • All areas of the business (including your wider P&C team and your client groups), will know that you are a Collaborator, and that all of your advice is centered around accelerating a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results
  • Creating a culture that fosters Learning & Development initiatives which allows for career progression in current role and beyond
  • Using your knowledge on employee reports to guide decision making and provide proactive and useful solutions to your client group
  • Supporting the delivery of the annual market salary reviews providing sound financial and salary advice to the business

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Solid Business Partnering or HR Generalist experience within a fast past and agile environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR programs and practices including Culture and Engagement, Organisational Design and Change Management as well as a strong foundation in Employee Relations and best practice
  • A confident communicator who is able to manage difficult conversations with empathy as well as facilitate workshops and influence discussions
  • A proven ability to use People metrics to inform strategy and business decisions
