Turning Point is recruiting an interim Payroll Officer based in Manchester city centre.

Where will I be working?
Our payroll function is based at The Exchange in Manchester alongside our core HR and Finance functions.
What will I be doing?
Your duties will include:
? Support with the accurate and timely delivery of several payrolls with a total of approximately 4000 payees.
? Provide an excellent customer service to all internal and external stakeholders who contact the payroll team.
? Provide management information and data to help decision making and continuous improvement.
? Constantly challenge processes and contribute to on-going improvements.
What skills and qualities do I need to have?
Whilst knowledge of TUPE and pensions would be beneficial, it isn't essential. What is essential is that you are:
? Experience in using Midland HR's Trent HR/Payroll system.
? At least one year's experience of processing complex monthly payrolls with a large volume of employees.
? Enthusiastic and positive with a 'can do' attitude.
? Forward thinking and strong problem solving skills with the ability to identify the root cause of issues and address them with appropriate solutions.
? Effective oral and written communication skills.
? Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating support to other organisational teams.
