The University of Central Lancashire is looking for a passionate and committed Course Enquiries Officer to handle inbound enquiries across telephone, email and live chat. The successful candidate will work as part of a small enquiries team within the UK Student Recruitment department. They will develop excellent knowledge of the University and the prospective student and applicant journey, providing high quality customer service and support.

We are looking for an individual who possesses strong organisational and communication skills (written, verbal, face-to-face and via social media) with an ability to deal confidently with clients at all levels both internally and externally. Proven experience of working within a customer-focussed environment, delivering tailored information to a wide range of customers as well as experience of working within a Higher Education setting are essential. You will also have A Levels or equivalent qualifications.
You will need to work with a diverse range of people on a daily basis and will be able to demonstrate sensitivity and empathy to the needs of a wide range of age groups, cultures and socio economic backgrounds. You will also recognise the need for and maintain confidentiality when dealing with enquirers.
