An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at Nomix Enviro based at Andover in a full time, permanent position as a customer service administrator. This job will also be considered as a job share arrangement, for two part time employees to cover the core hours of 8.30am to 5.00pm.

The successful applicant will be IT literate, able to work using their own initiative and be able to demonstrate a confident manner in dealing with colleagues and customers at all levels.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in similar role.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Receive customer orders via telephone, fax and e-mail and ensure that they are input in a timely and accurate manner

  • Confirm customer details and requirements, including pricing, quantity and product type

  • Establish and confirm product and customer pricing with Area Sales Manager and National Sales Manager

  • Liaise with the Operations Team Leader to establish stock levels based on customer orders

  • Advise customers of delivery details and suggest alternative product where requested product not readily available

  • Liaise with transportation firms to organise collection and delivery of customer orders or returns

  • Contact customers to advise of special offers and promotional deals

  • Resolve all customer service issues in a professional and timely manner including arranging collection and servicing and return of equipment

  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints updating Sales and Technical Team on any issues

  • Position Requirements

  • Minimum GCSE “C” grade English and Maths required or equivalent

  • Strong administrative skills with proven attention to detail

  • Ability to deal confidently with a wide range of people in difficult circumstances

  • Possess a confident and professional telephone manner

  • Excellent IT skills including use of Excel spreadsheets

  • Proven ability to work on own initiative, make decisions and manage workload

  • Experience of providing dedicated administrative support

  • Experience of working in a busy office environment

  • Flexible approach to work and managing changing priorities
