Duties & Responsibilities
To deliver a truly inspirational and differentiated shopping experience for John Lewis customers. Work with a cross functional team of Visual Merchandise, Stock Management and Selling Partners to deliver inspirational displays, strong stock availability and target beating sales results. To use expert knowledge of the market place and current trends to develop the departments performance and our Partners capability.
The role is to be an ambassador for the brand and will appeal to an individual who is passionate about their product assortment and takes ownership for developing its success both internally and externally. It is a customer facing role in which the Merchandiser operates as a member of a sales and service team to deliver the branches operating plan. The Merchandiser works closely with the Visual Merchandising, Stock Management and Selling teams to deliver market leading visual merchandising and presentation standards. This cross functional working requires the role holder to have excellent planning, communication and interpersonal skills. The Merchandiser will also fulfil all aspects of the Selling Partner Job Description.
