Cardlytics helps companies make better decisions. As a Manager on our Advertiser Analytics team, you will go beyond basic statistics to provide actionable, whole wallet customer insights. You will interact with internal teams to derive meaning and shape business strategies based on our secure first-party data.

Cool stuff you get to do in this role

  • Play a key role on our Advertiser Analytics team leading part of our Retail analytic practice
  • Build and lead a team of managers and analysts, serving as a trainer, mentor and subject matter expert for your group
  • Consult with Fortune 500 clients, sales and account management to present campaign results, build marketing strategies and identify opportunities for insights
  • Work with internal teams to develop new analytic products and methodologies
  • Mine purchase data to understand consumer spending habits, competitive landscapes, and customer journeys
  • Analyze results of Cardlytics marketing campaigns to prove success of targeting strategies and inform future campaign structures

What you will accomplish in this role

  • You and your team will work with large data sets in a fast-paced environment, using R, SQL and other tools to:
    • Produce standard and custom campaign analyses to prove success of Cardlytics marketing programs
    • Solve ad-hoc client business questions using whole-wallet transaction data
  • Work across disparate teams throughout the organization to:
    • Develop new analytic products and methodologies
    • Troubleshoot issues in existing datasets and marketing campaigns
    • Understand upcoming changes to our network for communication out to internal and external stakeholders
  • Craft engaging analytic stories using PowerPoint and Tableau that answer a client’s specific business questions
  • Present campaign results and custom business insights to Fortune 500 clients
  • Interface with internal clients (Sales & Account Management) to develop account strategies, outline deliverables, and produce one-pager analytics for upcoming sales pitches
  • Prioritize workload across multiple clients and distribute to junior analysts based on skillset and availability
  • Work across disparate teams throughout the organization to troubleshoot issues and understand upcoming changes to our network for communication out to internal and external stakeholders
  • Standardize and optimize common analytics deliverables into templates to be used by the broader analytics organization
  • Interface with Business Intelligence team to move standard reporting to self-serve portals for Sales and Account Management teams
  • Manage and develop junior members of the analytics team to augment their technical skills and refine their client facing soft skills
  • 10% travel for client meetings

    • Ability to juggle multiple projects & clients at a time
    • Strong team and project/workstream management skills
    • Proficient in SQL and SAS
    • Experience with R and Python a plus
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
    • Experience with Tableau and data visualization an advantage

  • Experience
    • 3+ years relevant experience in a Senior Analyst/Lead Analyst/Manager function
    • Client-facing presentation experience required
    • Experience training and developing others required
    • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Decision Sciences, Marketing Research or similar field
    • Graduate degree a plus
