About the Role
As a Legal Assistant at St John Ambulance, you will work closely with our Senior Legal Advisor to support the day to day running of our legal department, as well as, acting as the legacy officer for the charity.
You will be responsible for drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, providing ad-hoc advice & guidance related to GDPR and working with our 3rd party lawyers.
You will have a law degree with over 12 months experience in a legal role. Ideally, as you will be supporting with GDPR queries, you will have some previous experience in data protection and working within the charitable sector.
St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, providing first aid, keeping people safe at events and working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls. Much of our front-line delivery is provided by our dedicated and highly-trained volunteers.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of people, many of them under 18, also learn how to save a life through our training, education and youth programmes.
