Full Time – 40 hours per week

G4S Custodial & Detention Services operates Gatwick IRCs, Brook House and Tinsley House, as part of its business portfolio.
G4S Custodial & Detention Services is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for people being detained due to their immigration status. Our philosophy is to treat all those in our care in a culturally sensitive way with all possible dignity, humanity and without discrimination; we respect their privacy, beliefs and differences. Our Contract locations are situated near Gatwick Airport and can accommodate approximately 600 male/female detainees with an ever changing population.
Reporting to the HR Business Partner, we are now looking for an HR Advisor to join us based at Brook House IRC in Gatwick. You will provide professional advice, guidance and support to operational and line management, bringing consistency and best practice to ensure HR supports the delivery of local business objectives and provide people insight, advice and address any people risks.
You will possess extensive HR Advisor experience, supporting the teams in all HR matters. You will have a consultative and can do attitude, along with an understanding of employment law and current legislation. You will work collaboratively and openly whilst offering effective solutions for your business areas.
Managing a team of four to deliver a robust HR service to the site of which has a 300 strong employee base, you must possess excellent communication skills both written and oral alongside keen negotiation and influencing skills.
