We have a great opportunity for a HR administrator working in the Employee Relations team in our Head Office in West Yorkshire.

This role is a permanent vacancy reporting into the ER Manager for central functions. It will involve:

Providing administrative support to the Employee Relations team, namely:

o Development and completion of trackers

o Organizing Union meetings and hotel/travel requirements for these

o Case file coordination for Employment Tribunals and Early Conciliations and collating witness statements and availability

o Process any purchase orders and invoices

o Support ER Specialists with early case management queries (Maternity, Paternity, Sickness Absence and Flexible Working etc), identifying potential early ER issues and escalating where required
o Work collaboratively with ER Managers and key stakeholders to produce MI containing key ER measures

o To assist with reviewing subject access requests

o Supporting delivery of the Wellbeing plan, including producing posters and communications

o Organizing ER training courses including venues, facilities, travel and accommodation

o Providing administrative support for the Diversity & Inclusion plan

o Liaising with the translators and Language Line to ensure we have the right number of accredited translators at each site.

The person in this role will need to be/have:
o Well organised with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage high volumes of work.

o Have worked within a HR environment previously and be able to provide straightforward, policy- based advice when required.

o Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to write a clear, understandable and concise manner

o Good working knowledge of current employment legislation and its application in the workplace

o Proactive and practical approach to problem solving
o Experience with working with multiple stakeholders
o Understanding of customer requirements and is able to take ownership of problems/issues and recommend practical HR solutions
