The person in this position will maintain a collaborative flow of communication within the Office of Research and Data Analysis (ORDA), between ORDA and other South Carolina Department of Education offices, and between ORDA and external stakeholders. Manage agency data-driven training initiatives around the student information systems (SIS). Provide detailed training plans and designs for in-person and online training modules. Be responsible for training implementation and integrity, including providing periodic monitoring of instruction, evaluating training materials, and measuring successful training outcomes. Provide assistance in support of SIS use to both internal and external stakeholders through both face-to-face and remote assistance. Work directly with internal and external staff to identify and resolve issues relating to SIS function, SIS data entry, and establish SIS-related procedures. Assist in the development, evaluation, and testing of new and existing SIS-related data system components. Manage vendor relationships related to these components. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in the development and review of instructional documentation relating to these components.
This position is in the Division of Research and Data Analysis.
A bachelor's degree and experience in education, management or business.
A bachelor's degree and at least three (3) years of experience administering Student Information Systems (SIS) and in managing SIS-related training. Demonstrated experience providing high-quality and effective communication. An equivalent amount of relevant work experience can substitute for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
