Job Description

As a Care Assistant, you will

  • Provide a variety of non-medical services to help your clients keep independent in their own home.
  • Provide your clients with Companionship
  • Provide your clients with Home help and personal care assistance with their daily routine
  • Be introduced to clients that live in your local area at the times that you are available
  • Build a long and trusting relationship with your clients who will remain your clients throughout your time with us
  • Have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service
  • Be reliable, trustworthy and respectful
  • Enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.

No experience required to become a Care Assistant. As long as you have your own car, available alternate weekends (for your clients that have weekend visits) and are caring and reliable then you could be the perfect Care Assistant to make a difference to your clients’ lives.

You will be working with a friendly and supportive team and there will be an opportunity to make a real difference in the area where you live.

Qualifications

Full UK Driving licence and access to your own vehicle

As a Care Assistant, you will

  • Receive industry leading training and excellent support
  • Competitive rates of pay (£10ph - £12ph, double pay on bank holidays)
  • Travel allowance (30p - 45p per mile)
  • A guaranteed hours' contract if you have the right availability

  • Minimum 1-hour visits (no 15 minute or half hour calls)
  • Visit the same Clients for continuity of care and to allow you to build up a meaningful relationship
  • In-house Learning and Development programme
  • Fully supported on-going training also working to achieve the Care Certificate
  • Opportunity for City & Guilds accredited Alzheimer’s training
