As our New York Account Executive, you will be a champion for our mission: To empower people to carshare everywhere.
You will be responsible for growing our community of car owners by evangelizing our peer-to-peer carsharing space, developing relationships with local businesses, and providing an exceptional onboarding experience for new members. The ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, and results-driven. You are passionate about the the customer journey, have experience with multi-channel sales tactics, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. You'll be part of the initial team to launch Getaround in NY!
What you'll be doing
- Build the community of car owners in New York through outreach by email, phone and in-person meetings
- Serve as an expert resource for Getaround and evangelize the benefits of car sharing, including our patented software and hardware technology
- Source, build, and maintain relationships with peer-to-peer carsharing owners
- Maximize new car owner confidence by providing an informative and transparent ramp up experience.
- Partner with marketing managers to offer insight into the effectiveness of lead generation strategies
- Partner with operations coordinators to ensure a timely and responsive car onboarding experience
What you'll need
- Proven track record with progressive experience in multi-channel sales or top-tier retail
- Team first attitude with competitive spirit and motivation to hit ambitious goals
- Familiarity with using data and process to increase sales velocity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, stay organized, and prioritize responsibilities
- Readiness to close the deal, whenever and wherever the opportunity exists
